KRLM: Traces of Love

Traces of Love

by Lupe Gore

"In early 2017, Feral Paws Rescue received a call from the CCSPCA (Fresno) asking if they would help with a cat who had a very bad injury that had caused tremendous swelling to his face. The shelter had already labeled this cat as “feral” since he didn’t want to have anything to do with the humans there. It was no wonder, since it was later determined he had been badly beaten.

This handsome tabby and white cat was approximately three years old, and was given the name Trace, or Trace-Trace. Feral Paws Rescue didn’t know much else about him, if he had ever had a home or not. All they knew was..."  READ MORE:  CLICK HERE

Catppuccino Cafe Pop Up & Adopt Event...

This is a followup to our attendance at the August 31st Catppuccino Cafe Pop Up & Adopt Event.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the event was a success! There were at least 15 of our kitties at the event, and several were adopted that evening. In fact, there were over 300 people who attended, and because there were so many people, the doors to the event had to be closed early and many people never made it inside to view the kitties.

However, we understand that we will be invited back for another Pop Up & Adopt event soon.

Here are some pictures from the event:

Keep watching our blog for a future Pop Up & Adopt Event announcement.

Meantime, our next monthly adoption event will be at:
Tractor Supply Co. 1630 Herndon Avenue, Clovis CA
on Saturday, September 15th, 11a to 4p

One of the cats saved that day is a stunning white cat with beautiful black markings on her back and tail, and a black “half-mustache.” She is approximately two years old. She was brought to the Rescue and put in one of the kennels, where I would take care of her along with almost 30 other cats.

Each time I would go into my area, she would rub up against the kennel and when I opened the door I would pick her up, pet her, and hold her while retrieving her food and water bowls, and litter pan in order to clean it. She was always so happy to have the attention and love and would sit inside her kennel watching me as I took care of the other cats. By the time I would be ready to leave for the day, she would..."  READ MORE:  Click Here
