April 2014 - Cat of the Month

Hello!  Right now I have no name, but thanks to Feral Paws Rescue Group I am safe in a foster home.
   I never thought my family would turn me in just because I got old. I've always loved them and felt as if things would never change, and that we would be together forever. Then one day I was given to the Animal Shelter. I got depressed very fast thinking that I was betrayed by my "loving" family, who said they loved me, but I guess they really didn't. Although I'm healthy, most people want kittens. So I gave up hope of ever leaving the shelter, except by way of the big truck that comes and takes away dead animals. I shudder just to think of it and how close I came to that same fate.
   Now I'm safe in a foster home and I am looking forward to receiving love from somebody who can really appreciate me, even if I am a senior cat. I promise to be a good cat and give my love to somebody who deserves me.

I am now adopted and loving my new home and family! Yippeee!!
